Photo and Video Release

Keep Maine Beautiful takes photographs and video at cleanups, events, and around the containers we place. We use them to show Maine what this work looks like. We would like your permission before we use one that shows you. This release is only for photos with you or your family in them, so we can share them on social media and in our materials. Photos of the litter you pick up never need a release, and we never post them.

What you are agreeing to

• Keep Maine Beautiful may photograph or record you, and may publish those images on our website, our social media, in printed materials, in our annual report, in grant applications, and in press coverage.
• We may crop or adjust an image so it looks right, and we may keep it in our archive.
• We may add the town where you walked and what your walk picked up to the image, like the example shown.
• You receive no payment, and none is owed to you.
• We will never use your image in content that shames or blames anyone. That is not how we work.
• You can change your mind. Write to crew@keepmainebeautiful.org and we will stop using the image going forward. We cannot recall something already printed or already shared by someone else.
